Vegetable Sauté

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons canola oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 (16 ounce) package frozen pepper and onion vegetable medley
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 1 (16 ounce) package frozen chopped collard greens
  • 1 (16 ounce) package frozen chopped spinach
  • 1 package onion soup mix
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper

Directions

In a 12 inch skillet, heat canola oil over medium heat.

Sauté minced garlic, peppers and onions until tender.

Deglaze the pan with ½ cup of chicken broth.

Add frozen chopped collard greens and frozen chopped spinach, mix well.

Add onion soup mix and black pepper. Stir to blend ingredients.

Lower heat, and simmer until vegetables are heated all the way through. Serve hot.
