Veal Chops with Wine and Apples
Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon canola oil
- 4 (6 ounce) veal chops
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
- 1 cup white wine
- 2 apples (peeled and thinly sliced)
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
Directions
Preheat oven to 400° F. Preheat oil in a large oven-proof sauté pan on medium-high for 2-3 minutes.
Season veal with salt and pepper.
Add veal to the pan; cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until browned. Add wine and apples to veal.
Transfer to oven and cook for 10-12 minutes, turning once, until 145° F.
Stir butter into sauce until melted.
