Take 5 Pie
Ingredients:
- 2½ cups pretzels (crushed, plus more for garnish)
- 10 tablespoons butter (melted)
- ¼ cup sugar
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips (melted)
- 2/3 cup peanut butter (microwaved until pourable, plus more for garnish)
- ½ cup caramel (microwaved until pourable, plus more for garnish)
- 1 cup roasted peanuts (chopped, plus more for garnish)
- 3 cups chocolate chips
- 1½ cups heavy cream
Directions
In a large bowl, combine pretzels, butter and sugar. Press into a 9 inch pie dish. Pour 1 cup melted chocolate onto the bottom of the crust and smooth. Place in the refrigerator to harden.
In a large bowl, combine peanut butter, caramel, and peanuts. Fold until ingredients are fully incorporated. Spread on top of chocolate layer and place pie back in the refrigerator.
Place chocolate chips in a medium heat-proof bowl. In a small sauce pan over medium heat, heat cream until it starts to simmer. Pour over chocolate and let sit 5 minutes before whisking until smooth. Pour over peanut layer and smooth with a spatula.
Top with crushed pretzels, chopped peanuts, and a drizzle of caramel.
Let set in the refrigerator, at least 1 hour. Serve.
