Pie Crust

Ingredients:

  • 1¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup butter (chilled and diced)
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup ice water

Directions

Combine salt and flour in large bowl. Cut in butter and mix until dough looks like crumbs. Add water one tablespoon at a time until dough forms a ball. Wrap in waxed parchment and refrigerate 4 hours.

Roll dough out and place in 9 inch pie plate. Press dough around evenly. Trim edge with a knife or kitchen scissors and press around the edges with your finger to make a scallop.
