Lean Beef Skyler Italian Pasta

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 cup onion (chopped)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • ½ teaspoon dried Italian seasoning (crushed)
  • 1 (16 ounce) jar tomato pasta sauce
  • 4 ounces neufchatel cheese (cut into cubes)
  • 3 cups pasta (cooked without salt and drained)

Directions

Cook the beef, onion, garlic and Italian seasoning in a 12 inch skillet over medium-high heat until the beef is well browned, stirring often to separate meat. Pour off any fat.

Stir the tomato sauce and cheese in the skillet. Reduce the heat to low. Cook for 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted, stirring often.

Stir in the pasta and cook until the mixture is hot and bubbling.
