Jam Filled Lemon Tarts

Ingredients:

  • 1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese (softened)
  • ½ cup butter (softened)
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • ½ teaspoon grated lemon peel
  • 1 cup flour
  • Jam of your choice

Directions

Beat cream cheese and butter until smooth, add sugar and lemon. Mix in flour.

Gather dough into two balls, chill one hour. Roll out dough, cutting 2 inch disks out with cutter. Spoon ¼ inch of jam into center of disc. Gather edges into three equally spaced corners and roll points over slightly, pinching shut.

Bake at 375° F until golden brown, about 15-20 minutes.
