Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients:

  • 1½ pounds russet potatoes (peeled, cut up)
  • ¼ cup garlic cloves
  • 1 (14.5 ounce) can chicken broth
  • 1/3 cup 2% milk (warmed)
  • 2 tablespoons butter (softened)

Directions

Place potatoes, garlic and broth in saucepan. Add enough water to cover potatoes.

Bring to a boil over high heat; reduce heat and simmer until potatoes are tender (about 20 minutes).

Drain potatoes. Add milk and butter; mash to desired consistency. Salt and pepper to taste.
