Fig Loaf

Ingredients:

  • 3½ ounces macadamia nuts
  • 1 cup dried figs (chopped)
  • 1 cup plain flour
  • 1 teaspoon bicarb soda
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup bran
  • 3 tablespoons butter (melted)
  • 1 tablespoon golden syrup
  • 1 egg (whisked)
  • 1 cup milk

Directions

Mix ingredients as you would dough and spoon into loaf tin.

Toss the loaf tin into a 356° F oven for 50 minutes.

Serve with butter.
