Chocolate Fudge

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips or dark chocolate chips
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated milk)
  • Dash of salt
  • ½-1 cup nuts (chopped, optional)
  • 1½ teaspoons vanilla extract

Directions

In a heavy saucepan, over low heat, melt the chocolate chips with the milk and salt. Remove from heat and stir in the nuts and vanilla.

Spread evenly into wax paper lined 8 or 9 inch square pan. Chill two hours or until firm.

Turn fudge onto cutting board and peel off paper and cut into squares. Store leftovers in fridge.
