Chocolate de Mexicanos
Ingredients:
- 4¼ cups milk
- 4 ounces semi-sweet baking chocolate (melted)
- 5 tablespoons sugar
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon vanilla
- 1/8 teaspoon allspice
- 1 shot tequila
Directions
Place all ingredients in a large saucepan and bring to a boil.
With a hand-held mixer or traditional molonillo (a wooden beater resembling a honey dipper), beat the mixture until it stops boiling and becomes slightly frothy. Stir in tequila.
Serve immediately in mugs garnished with cinnamon sticks.
