Breakfast Sandwich


  • 2 breakfast sausage links
  • 1 large egg
  • Kosher salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 bagel
  • 3-4 pieces of lettuce
  • 1 slice Swiss cheese
  • 2 tomato slices


Heat a nonstick pan over medium-high heat. Halve the sausage links and cook until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

Crack your egg into the pan, season with salt and pepper, and fry in the sausage fat. If there is not enough fat in the pan, just add some more oil before frying the egg. When the egg is cooked to your liking, remove and set aside.

Halve and toast your bagel. Pile on the lettuce, fried egg, sausage and tomato.
