Asian Beef or Chicken Mushroom Wraps

Ingredients:

  • 3 tablespoons oil (divided)
  • 1 pound flank or round steak or boneless skinless chicken breasts (cut into thin strips)
  • 16 ounces white or brown mushrooms (sliced)
  • 1 (16 once) package frozen stir-fry vegetables
  • 1/3 cup hoisin sauce
  • 6 (8 inch) flour tortillas

Directions

In a large skillet over medium heat, heat 2 tablespoons oil.

Add half of the meat; cook and stir until brown on both sides, 5-6 minutes; remove to plate and set aside. Repeat with remaining meat.

Heat remaining oil in skillet; add mushrooms, cook and stir until tender, about 5 minutes. Add vegetables stirring frequently until vegetables are barely cooked, about 2 minutes.

Stir in hoisin sauce and reserved meat, heat 1 minute.

Spoon equal amount of meat and mushroom mixture on one side of each tortilla; roll to enclose filling. Cut rolled tortillas in halves diagonally; serves immediately.
